The latest CES showcased innovative robots, highlighting their growing role in homes and daily life.

Some of the robots were cute, while others were a bit creepy, hanging out in that uncanny valley. Realbotix, for instance, is going all-in on realism with their human-like robots. They’ve got options ranging from a $10,000 bust to a full-body model for $175,000. They even market them as “relationship-based AI,” which is a fancy way of saying they’re designed for companionship.
Then there’s TCL’s Ai me, a robot that looks like it’s made for kids but has features for adults too. It’s got big eyes, a childlike voice, and can even connect to smart home devices. It’s still just a concept, but it’s adorable!
On the practical side, Roborock showed off their Saros Z70, a robot vacuum with an extendable arm to help it clean better. And Dreame’s X50 Ultra can climb small ledges, which is pretty impressive for a vacuum.
Samsung’s Ballie is back, promising to be a helpful home companion, while Yukai Engineering introduced Mirumi, a fluffy little robot that acts like a purse charm.
And it doesn’t stop there! Big names like Apple and Tesla are also working on their own robots. It’s clear that the future of home tech is getting more exciting, but will people really spend big bucks on these gadgets? Only time will tell!
