Riley Keough opened up about her mom Lisa Marie Presley’s reaction to her teen arrest, recalling a rebellious phase in her life.

Las Vegas: Riley Keough recently shared a story about her rebellious teen years and how her mom, Lisa Marie Presley, reacted when she got arrested. On the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, she revealed that she was caught breaking and entering as a minor.
Riley, now 35, joked about needing her publicist during the interview. She explained that she accidentally went to a house for sale, thinking it was her friend’s place. When the police showed up, most people got away, but about ten of them, including Riley, were arrested.
She recalled her mom’s reaction, saying Lisa was “pissed” and told her, “This is on you, girl.” Riley felt lucky that her arrest didn’t make the news. She mentioned being grounded for three months after the incident, which included her birthday.
At the time, Lisa was in Las Vegas and couldn’t pick her up, so she sent one of Riley’s aunts instead. Riley reflected on her own rebellious moments, saying she used to sneak out and hang out with people she wasn’t supposed to.
In the same episode, Riley also talked about finishing her late mother’s memoir, “From Here to the Great Unknown.” Lisa Marie passed away in January 2023 at 54, leaving behind Riley and her twin daughters, Finley and Harper.
Riley shared how she coped with the loss of her mom and brother, Benjamin, who died by suicide three years earlier. She turned to Reddit for support during that isolating time. Recently, she honored the anniversary of her mom’s death with a heartfelt post, sharing a FaceTime screenshot and tributes from her daughters.
