Las Vegas: The Raiders are really stepping up their game off the field. Their latest Impact Playbook shows how much they care about the community.

Released on January 3, the report highlights their charitable work and connections with former players. Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan emphasized that their commitment goes beyond just football.

In 2024, the Raiders Foundation donated over $1.7 million to local charities and educational programs. They even held a gala that raised $500,000 for Legal Aid of Southern Nevada.

Barbara Buckley, the executive director of the Legal Aid Center, praised the Raiders for recognizing mental health issues. The foundation also offers grants to various organizations, making it easy for anyone to apply.

On the environmental front, the Raiders are making strides at Allegiant Stadium. They saved 535 million gallons of water in 2024 by using efficient fixtures.

They want to inspire others in the community to conserve water too. The team also composts landscape waste, showing their commitment to eco-friendly practices.

With natural grass on the field, they’re mindful of water usage but have found ways to save millions of gallons elsewhere. They even repurpose rubber turf pellets to keep waste down.

Food waste is another focus. Last year, they donated 747,580 pounds of food scraps to local farms. Their sustainability efforts earned them two Green Sports Alliance awards.

Small businesses are also getting a boost from the Raiders. They host showcases to help minority- and female-owned businesses gain visibility.

Alumni relations are strong too. The Raiders keep in touch with former players, hosting events and wellness weekends to support their health.

Mark Davis, the owner, believes in giving back to those who helped build the team. It’s all about community and connection for the Raiders.
