Washington: So, President Trump’s second inauguration is happening on January 20, 2025. He’ll be sworn in at noon inside the Capitol Rotunda. It’s usually outside, but with the cold weather, they moved it indoors.
Before the big moment, Trump will attend a morning service at St. John’s Episcopal Church. After that, he and Melania will have tea with Joe and Jill Biden at the White House. Sounds like a cordial handoff, right?
Once at the Capitol, Trump will give his inaugural address. There’ll be a farewell for Biden and Harris, and then he’ll sign some important documents. After that, he and Vice President-elect JD Vance will enjoy a luncheon before heading outside to speak to military troops.
Later, they’ll all head to Capital One Arena for the Inaugural Parade and to meet the crowd. It’s going to be quite the day!
Oh, and just the day before, Trump held a “Victory Rally” at the same arena. He promised to release files on JFK, RFK, and MLK’s assassinations and mentioned plans to change some military policies. He even hinted at possibly pardoning some folks from the Capitol riot arrests. Quite the lead-up to the inauguration!
