PennWest and AIM Institute are partnering to create a new program in plastics injection molding for students

Pennsylvania: Exciting news! The American Injection Molding Institute (AIM) and Pennsylvania Western University (PennWest) are joining forces. They’re launching a new program focused on plastics injection molding.
This partnership is all about giving students a leg up in their careers. Starting this fall, students can dive into AIM coursework right away. It’s a great chance to fast-track their education.
Students will learn everything from plastics materials to mold design and even simulation techniques. The focus is on real-world skills that employers are looking for. Plus, PennWest’s courses will help prepare them for various jobs in the industry.
What’s cool is that students will get hands-on training at AIM’s top-notch Injection Molding Lab. They can attend classes at different PennWest campuses, either in-person or online, making it super flexible.
AIM graduates can also earn up to 25 credits toward their PennWest degree, which is a nice bonus. David Hoffman from AIM mentioned that this partnership meets a real industry need for skilled workers.
James D. Fisher from PennWest expressed excitement about this collaboration, highlighting its focus on real-world skills and career opportunities. It’s all about helping students succeed in the injection molding field.
