New England: So, Mike Vrabel is getting settled in as the new head coach of the Patriots, and he’s already eyeing some talent from the Dolphins. Word is he might want to bring in Ryan Crow as his defensive coordinator.

The Patriots have put in a request to chat with Crow, who’s been coaching outside linebackers for Miami. He joined the Dolphins last year and has a solid background, having worked with Vrabel for six years when they were both with the Titans.

During his time in Tennessee, Crow was the outside linebackers coach for the last three seasons. Before that, he was involved in special teams and defensive assistance. This past season, he helped develop rookie Chop Robinson, who really stepped up with six sacks.

Crow also managed to get good performances from veteran Emmanuel Ogbah, even with some tough injuries on the team. Meanwhile, Vrabel is making moves after the Patriots let go of Jerod Mayo, who had a short stint as head coach.

On another note, Anthony Weaver, the Dolphins’ defensive coordinator, is in the running for the Saints’ head coaching job and has a second interview lined up. It’s all happening in the NFL right now!
