Lanzarote: A wild scene unfolded on a Ryanair flight when a passenger, claiming to be a UN diplomat, threw a fit over his seat. He was demanding a front-row spot and refused to cooperate with the crew.

Video footage shows him arguing with flight attendants and security before the pilot had to call in the Civil Guard. Things got physical as he wrestled with the officers trying to remove him.

The man was shouting about his rights, insisting he paid for his seat and wouldn’t accept the situation. Meanwhile, a woman nearby urged the officers to hurry, mentioning there were kids around.

Eventually, the disruptive passenger was taken off the plane, which was delayed by nearly an hour. Ryanair later stated they’re committed to keeping flights safe and respectful, emphasizing their zero-tolerance policy for unruly behavior.

They’ve been cracking down on such incidents, even suing passengers who cause major disruptions. The airline is also pushing for stricter drink limits at airport bars to prevent these situations from happening in the first place.
