Los Angeles: Pamela Anderson recently opened up about her role in *The Last Showgirl*. She called it “life-changing” and said it’s the best way to respond to the *Pam & Tommy* series, which she found quite hurtful.

During a chat with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, she expressed how strange and bizarre she felt about the Hulu show. She mentioned that it felt “hurtful” to see her life portrayed in that way.

Anderson reflected on the ethics of the series, saying it felt almost illegal. She recalled being told long ago that once you’re in the public eye, you lose your right to privacy.

Even though she wasn’t involved in *Pam & Tommy*, which was based on a Rolling Stone article about her infamous sex tape, she noted that Hulu never reached out to her about it.

While promoting her new memoir and cookbook, she shared that it was odd to see a tough time in her life turned into entertainment.

She also pointed out the irony of others winning awards for playing her, saying, “All these people have won awards basically playing you, but not you.”

Anderson made it clear she doesn’t blame the actors, saying it’s just one of those things. She’s focused on her current work and feels this is her best payback, as she’s finally being recognized for her talent, not just those scandalous moments.

*Pam & Tommy* received nine Emmy nominations and won for makeup, after producers got the rights to the Rolling Stone article about the tape’s release.
