A California man, Casey Colvin, is overwhelmed with joy after finding his dog Oreo, lost in the Palisades Fire.

While at work, he got the call to evacuate. He spent hours stuck in traffic, desperate to save Oreo and his other dog, Tika Tika Tika. It was a nightmare.
A firefighter helped him find Tika Tika Tika, but Oreo ran off. Sadly, Colvin’s home was reduced to ashes. Despite everything, he didn’t give up on finding Oreo. He posted flyers and even used an AirTag to track him down.
After days of searching, Oreo was spotted hiding in the rubble of a neighbor’s house. Colvin finally found him with the help of a professional dog trapper.
The reunion was pure magic. Colvin was overjoyed, scooping Oreo up in his arms and crying tears of happiness. He couldn’t believe his dog was alive.
The emotional moment was captured on video, showing Colvin celebrating with Oreo on his shoulder. It was a heartwarming sight amidst the devastation of the fires that have affected so many in Los Angeles County.
