More than 50 musicians are eager to join the FireAid concert for wildfire victims in Los Angeles, aiming to help those affected by the disaster.

Los Angeles: So, there’s this big benefit concert coming up called FireAid, and it’s for the folks hit hard by the wildfires. A ton of artists—over 50, actually—are trying to snag a spot to perform.
Word is, the organizers are thinking about adding more slots since the interest is so high. They originally planned for 24 acts, but it looks like they might need to expand that. Pretty cool, right?
We don’t know all the big names yet, but it’s confirmed that neither Taylor Swift nor Beyoncé will be there on January 30. Speaking of Beyoncé, she’s been super generous, donating $2.5 million to help with recovery efforts.
The Eagles also chipped in $2.5 million, but it’s still up in the air if they’ll perform. The concert is set to happen at the Intuit Dome, which is pretty close to where the fires have been raging.
As of now, over 23,000 acres have burned in the Palisades fire, and it’s only 19% contained. The Eaton Fire has taken out 14,000 acres and is 45% contained. It’s a tough situation.
Sadly, at least 25 people have lost their lives, and 16 are still missing. The wildfires have destroyed more than 12,300 structures, making this one of the worst fire seasons in Southern California history.
These fires are not just bad; they’re the most destructive we’ve seen in the area. It’s heartbreaking to see so much devastation.
