Omar Marmoush shines for Eintracht Frankfurt as Manchester City eyes a £60m transfer

Pep Guardiola is on the hunt for a new forward, especially after Julian Alvarez left for Atletico Madrid without a replacement. This puts a lot of pressure on Erling Haaland, who’s been the main scorer but has had a bit of a dry spell lately.
Marmoush, at just 25, has been lighting it up with 14 goals and eight assists in 14 Bundesliga games this season. City is reportedly in talks for a £60m deal, which is pretty exciting.
Even with the transfer buzz, Marmoush is still in the mix for Frankfurt. He started against SC Freiburg and showed why he’s so valuable. He assisted one goal and scored another, making it a solid win for his team.
It’s a bit of a gamble for Frankfurt to keep playing him while negotiations are ongoing, but it paid off this time. His goal was a cheeky volley after his first shot was blocked, and it just squeaked in past the keeper. What a game!
