A man facing child abuse charges is now hit with a new lewd molestation charge in Ocala

The judge, Tim McCourt, along with the lawyers, talked about Prophet’s ongoing case. After that, he was taken to the back to be booked at the Marion County Jail. He’s currently being held without bail.
Now, Prophet, who’s 33, is facing a new charge of lewd and lascivious molestation. This all started when Detective Annemarie Larocque interviewed a victim back in October 2024. The report says the incident happened in a bedroom between 2012 and 2014 when the victim was just 7 or 8 years old.
The victim mentioned that Prophet told him not to say anything because he would get in trouble.
On top of that, Prophet is already dealing with a charge of child abuse without great bodily harm. He’s accused of hurting a student at Destiny Leadership Academy, where he was the principal. Prophet claims he was just trying to help the child, saying he thought the kid might harm himself. He’s pleaded not guilty, and his next court date for that case is in March.
This isn’t Prophet’s first run-in with the law. Six years ago, he was accused of inappropriately touching a child. That charge was reduced, and he ended up on probation, which he completed in September 2023 after serving 90 days in jail for violating its terms.
Prophet used to work for Marion County Public Schools but resigned in 2019. He even ran for the school board a year before that but didn’t win.
