NHS Trust Seeks Staff for New Surgical Centre at the VIN

Northwich: The new surgical centre is gearing up for its opening this spring, but they still need staff. The Cheshire and Merseyside Surgical Centre is located at the Victoria Infirmary.

Mid Cheshire NHS Trust held several recruitment events last year and is hosting another one this month. They’re looking to fill positions for the theatre team at both the new centre and Leighton Hospital.

The recruitment event is set for January 25 at Leighton Hospital Treatment Centre, running from 10am to 4pm. They have part-time and full-time roles available for Band 5 Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners.

Gemma Morgan-Lees, the general manager of the Victoria Infirmary, expressed confidence in attracting interest, saying it’s a great place to work.

The new centre will feature two theatres, a recovery room, and a treatment room, aiming to tackle the backlog of patients waiting for treatment, some for over a year.
