New York: A recent survey shows that many Americans are all for keeping holiday decorations up year-round. Can you believe it? About 45% of folks think it’s totally fine to keep the festive vibes going long after the holidays.

But don’t get too carried away—over half of the people surveyed still think there’s a time to take down the tinsel. In fact, 55% believe there’s a deadline for that. The average date they picked? January 16. So, if you’re still feeling festive, you’ve got a little time left!

Interestingly, this survey was part of a broader look at how people felt about the past year. It seems like many are craving that holiday cheer, especially after rating the last year as just okay, at a 6.1 out of 10.

Millennials are the biggest fans of year-round decorations, with 48% supporting the idea. Baby boomers are a bit more reserved but still show some love at 43%. And when it comes to gender, women are slightly more likely to want those decorations to stick around than men.

Regionally, people in the southwest and northeast are the most enthusiastic about keeping the holiday spirit alive, while those in the west are less keen on the idea. It’s all about spreading that joy a little longer, right?

So, if you’re still rocking those lights and ornaments, you’re not alone! Many are embracing the festive spirit a bit longer this year.
