Washington: So, things got pretty wild during a House Oversight Committee meeting. Nancy Mace from South Carolina and Jasmine Crockett from Texas had a major showdown. Mace was really upset after Crockett called her “child” while criticizing her views on trans issues.

Crockett fired back, saying, “Somebody’s campaign coffers are struggling right now so she’s going to keep saying trans trans trans.. Child listen.” Mace wasn’t having it. She shot back, “I am no child! Do not call me a child. I am a grown woman. If you want to take it outside…”

The committee chair, Rep. James Comer, tried to restore order by banging his gavel, but it didn’t help much. Later, Rep. Maxwell Frost asked why it was okay for one member to threaten another. Mace interrupted, insisting she didn’t threaten anyone and accused her colleagues of making things up.

After all the drama, the House passed a bill banning transgender athletes from competing in girls’ sports, but it still needs Senate approval. This isn’t the first time the House has felt more like a reality show. Just last May, Crockett was in the spotlight when Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized her appearance. What a scene!
