Lucrecia Jadan Sumba, a mother of four, was found dead in a dumpster, and her husband has been charged with her murder.
Lucrecia, 39, was reported missing after she didn’t show up for work at a nail salon in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Her family was worried when she didn’t come home. They reported her missing last Thursday.
Authorities discovered her body in a dumpster on Saturday. The coroner said she died from “sharp force injuries.” Rolando, 42, was arrested soon after.
It’s shocking to hear that he seemed indifferent when her coworkers were concerned about her absence. They had been together for 23 years and had four kids together.
Her boss and one of her sons, Danny, were the ones who reported her missing. The police later declared their home a crime scene, which left the family in confusion.
Lucrecia’s children, including Danny, Leonel, Christian, and little Eidan, are devastated. Christian still lives in Ecuador, where the family hopes to bring Lucrecia back for a proper funeral.
She had been working hard to earn her GED and had dreams of bringing her children to the U.S. one by one. Everyone knew her as a loving and hardworking mom, always bringing joy to those around her.
Rolando is currently in jail and is set to appear in court soon. This heartbreaking situation has left many questions unanswered.
