Milwaukee: A 17-year-old boy is in some serious trouble after a tragic incident. Jaden E. Jenkins-Delane has been charged with negligent homicide. This follows the death of 18-year-old Christopher Carter Jr. from Texas.

The shooting happened on January 9 in a neighborhood in Milwaukee. Carter was staying at Jenkins-Delane’s home when the accident occurred. Sadly, he became the first shooting victim in Milwaukee this year.

According to reports, Jenkins-Delane was cleaning a gun when it accidentally fired, hitting Carter in the pelvis. They rushed Carter to the hospital, but during the drive, he tossed the gun out the window. Carter told Jenkins-Delane’s mom that it was an accident and that the gun was acting weird.

Carter was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital and later moved to Froedtert Hospital, where he sadly passed away. His family hasn’t commented yet.

Jenkins-Delane isn’t allowed to have a gun, and now he faces serious charges, including homicide and possession of a dangerous weapon. He’s currently in custody and was set to appear in court soon.
