Reports from the Washington Post captured the emotional scene of migrants weeping at the gates of America after their appointments were abruptly canceled. Many had been waiting for their chance to enter the U.S. and were devastated by the sudden change.
In Ciudad Juárez, those waiting for their 1 PM appointments learned just 20 minutes before that the app had shut down, leaving them in shock and despair.
