Michael Rapaport blasts California Governor Gavin Newsom for his handling of the LA fires, demanding accountability and action.

Rapaport criticized Newsom for focusing on “Trump-proofing” California instead of addressing the ongoing wildfires. He pointed out that Trump isn’t even president anymore, yet Newsom seems more concerned with him than the crisis at hand.
The actor, known for his outspoken nature, has previously criticized Trump but mentioned that Vice President Kamala Harris lost his vote due to her stance on Israel. He mocked Newsom’s approach, saying, “Get the f— out of here!” and added that he’s not running for a school position.
Rapaport also called Newsom a “little bulls— artist,” highlighting the frustration many feel about the governor’s response to the fires. He’s not alone in his criticism; other celebrities have also voiced their concerns.
Last week, Rhea Durham, Mark Wahlberg’s wife, slammed Newsom for his relaxed demeanor during the crisis. She shared a now-deleted post showing him laughing while standing with a group at a fire base camp, questioning why he wasn’t taking the situation more seriously.
As of Tuesday, three major fires are still burning in LA, and the response from Newsom and local officials has drawn significant backlash. Newsom’s communications director defended him, stating that the governor is focused on helping people and ensuring firefighters have the resources they need. The wildfires have already consumed over 1,262 acres in the area, making the need for effective leadership even more critical.
