Manuel Ugarte reacts strongly after Manchester United’s thrilling penalty win against Arsenal in the FA Cup

United started strong with Bruno Fernandes scoring first, but things got tricky when Diogo Dalot got sent off in the 61st minute. Arsenal took advantage and equalized with a free-kick from Gabriel Magalhaes. They even had a chance to take the lead with a penalty, but United’s goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir, made a fantastic save against Martin Odegaard.
Despite being down a player, United pushed through to extra time and ultimately won in a penalty shootout. Bayindir was a hero again, stopping Kai Havertz’s shot, which secured a home match against Leicester City next month.
After the game, Ugarte took to social media to share his thoughts. He posted some game highlights and wrote, “When we have the ball, it’s a game and when we don’t, it’s a fight. Let’s keep it going always together.” His message came after United’s official account tweeted the word ‘justice’ following their win.
United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim, praised his players for their effort. He noted that sometimes the game is more about heart than tactics. He acknowledged that while Arsenal played well, United deserved the win for their fighting spirit. He also thanked the fans for their incredible support, saying it was a great day for the team, but they needed to rest up for the next match.
