Diego Leon has officially joined Manchester United after completing his medical and signing a five-year contract with the club

The fee? It’s around £3.3 million, but it could go up to £7 million with add-ons. Leon is a left-back, and United thinks he’s got what it takes to make it to the first team, but they know he’ll need some time to adjust to life in Manchester.
After his medical, he got a tour of Carrington and Old Trafford. He even snapped some pics with Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Garnacho in the canteen. Funny enough, he ran into Kevin De Bruyne too, right after finishing his medical tests.
United is keen on scouting more talent from South America, and Leon is just the latest addition in their quest for promising young players. Remember Sekou Kone? He’s 18 and joined from Mali last August. He’s still finding his feet in English football, having made just one start for the Under-21s this season.
Both Leon and Kone are seen as future stars, and fans are excited to see how they develop!
