Manchester United is optimistic about signing Viktor Gyokeres as Arsenal delays their move until the season’s end

However, it looks like United won’t go for Gyokeres in January since Amorim said he wouldn’t sign any players from Sporting then. This seemed to give Arsenal a chance, but reports say his £80 million price tag is too steep for them right now.

This is good news for United, who might now be in the driver’s seat to sign Gyokeres, especially with Amorim on board.
