A California man joyfully reunites with his rescue dog Oreo after the Palisades Fire, expressing gratitude for their safety.

Pacific Palisades: A man named Casey Colvin was over the moon after finding his rescue dog, Oreo, who he thought was lost in the chaos of the Pacific Palisades fire.
Casey was in a tough spot when the fire broke out. He wasn’t home when the evacuation order hit, and he was desperate to get back to save his two dogs, Oreo and Tika.
Luckily, a firefighter stepped in to help. He went to Casey’s house and managed to bring Tika back, but Oreo had run off. Sadly, Casey’s home ended up burning down shortly after.
After the fire, Casey’s friend spotted Oreo nearby and shared a photo. Casey even made a flyer to help find him. He was using an AirTag to track Oreo, hoping to bring him home.
On January 12, things started looking up. Oreo was spotted a couple of times, even resting in the rubble of a neighbor’s house. Casey left food and water out, hoping Oreo would return.
Then, just a few hours later, the big moment happened. Casey got the news that Oreo had been found! In a touching video, you could see Oreo running down a hill and jumping into Casey’s arms.
Casey was overwhelmed with joy, shouting, “Oh my God! You’re alive!” as he celebrated with his furry friend. It was such a heartwarming scene amidst all the devastation.
This story really shows the bond between pets and their owners, especially in tough times.
