Manchester City is in talks to secure Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt as they seek to boost their forward options

He just scored for Frankfurt over the weekend, but City is eager to wrap up a deal for the 25-year-old forward soon. The talks are still happening, and Frankfurt’s director, Markus Krosche, hinted that Marmoush might have played his last game for them, even though he’s still in the squad for the upcoming match against Freiburg.
Krosche was pretty honest when he spoke to Sky Germany, saying he can’t say for sure what will happen. He mentioned that the goal is to keep the team together, but things can change quickly.
City is looking to strengthen their attack after selling Julian Alvarez without bringing in a replacement. Jeremy Doku and Jack Grealish stepped up with goals and assists in their recent FA Cup win, but Pep Guardiola stressed that all his forwards need to contribute consistently.
He pointed out that relying solely on Erling Haaland for goals isn’t realistic. In the past, it was a team effort with multiple players scoring, and that’s what they need to keep up their success.
