Manchester Airport faces significant flight delays and cancellations due to heavy snow on January 5, affecting many travelers.
Manchester: Early Sunday morning, around 6am, Manchester Airport announced it was working hard to clear the runways. Unfortunately, they were still closed, and many flights were impacted.
By 7:20am, the airport updated everyone, saying, “Our runways remain closed as we continue to clear the airfield after continued heavy snow in the last hour. We prioritize the health and safety of our passengers, and operations will resume as soon as possible.”
They also advised travelers to check with their airlines for the latest flight info and thanked everyone for their patience.
