Johnstown: Tammeria Ibrahim and Lucas Slick are part of the Trump Force 47 group. They got involved during the last presidential election, attending rallies and pushing for votes for Trump.

Now, they’re all set to head to Washington, D.C., on January 20 for the inauguration. Ibrahim, who lives in Upper Yoder Township, is really looking forward to it. She thinks it’ll be a fun time with lots of positive energy.

Ibrahim mentioned that people are eager for a change after the last four years. She expects some protests but believes the overall vibe will be great. Reflecting on local support, she noted how their area flipped from blue to red, which is a big deal.

Neither of them has been to a presidential inauguration before. Slick, who works as a funeral director and is also a volunteer firefighter in Adams Township, is thrilled to witness this historic moment. He feels it’s something everyone should experience at least once.

Slick believes Trump will face important challenges during his term and is excited about the potential for change. Ibrahim echoed his enthusiasm, saying she can’t wait for the 20th and even more for the 21st when Trump is officially in office and things start happening.
