Tyler Morton suggests he may leave Liverpool in January for more playing time
The young Reds had a fantastic 4-0 win against Accrington Stanley recently. It was a great match, showcasing some exciting moments, including Rio Ngumoha’s debut and Federico Chiesa scoring his first goal for the team.
Morton played well in midfield, showing his skills. He’s been on loan at Blackburn Rovers and Hull City, and this was just his fourth game this season.
After the match, he shared his frustration about not getting enough playing time. He feels he’s been working hard and deserves more chances.
Morton said, “It’s been tough for me this season, minute’s wise.” He believes he made the most of his opportunity in the recent game and hopes others noticed.
When asked about the January transfer window, he was straightforward. “This month’s obviously a big month for myself,” he said. He’s ready to take the next step, whether that’s with Liverpool or elsewhere.
He added, “I’ve got to be a bit selfish and go with however I feel.” It sounds like he’s ready for a change if it means more playing time.
