LiAngelo Ball has inked an impressive $8 million deal with Def Jam after his hit song “Tweaker” gained massive popularity

He dropped “Tweaker” on January 3, going by the name Gelo. It’s been a hit, playing in NFL and NBA locker rooms and climbing the streaming charts like crazy.
The deal could actually be worth up to $13 million, and he gets to keep full ownership of his music and even start his own label. Pretty cool, right? But, there’s a bit of a twist. Some sources say he didn’t actually get the full $8 million.
Before this, LiAngelo didn’t have much of a music background. His brother Lonzo has put out a couple of albums, and LiAngelo was featured on one of Lonzo’s tracks back in 2018.
While Lonzo and LaMelo are making waves in the NBA, LiAngelo hasn’t played in a game yet. He almost played for UCLA but got into trouble during a trip to China, which derailed his college career. He’s had some stints in Lithuania, the G-League, and even played in Mexico last year.
But hey, his music career is really taking off! He’s even set to perform at Rolling Loud California in March. Exciting times ahead for him!
