Leslie Charleson, known for her role on “General Hospital,” has died at 79, leaving behind a legacy of nearly 50 years on the show.

Frank Valentini, the executive producer, shared the news on Instagram, expressing his deep sorrow. He described Leslie as a cherished friend and a vital part of the show’s family.
Her legacy is truly remarkable, with over 2,000 episodes under her belt. Leslie started her journey on “General Hospital” back in 1977 and became the longest-serving cast member.
Besides her iconic role, she also appeared in “General Hospital: Night Shift” and “Port Charles.” Leslie’s career began in the ’60s, and she had roles in shows like “As the World Turns.”
She even made guest appearances on popular shows like “Friends” and had a memorable role in “Happy Days.” Leslie will be missed by many, and her contributions to television will always be remembered.
