Los Angeles: Leighton Meester is getting some serious love from her fans. After her home was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, they’ve started promoting her music online.

Fans are hoping to give her “incredibly underappreciated” pop songs a boost, just like they did for Heidi Montag. One fan even asked if the internet could rally for Meester’s music the same way it did for Montag’s.

Soon after, Flavor Flav shared a TikTok video of himself enjoying Meester’s 2009 track “Somebody to Love.” He encouraged his followers to join in and support her.

While most know her from “Gossip Girl,” Meester has had a solid music career too. Besides “Somebody to Love,” she sang on Cobra Starship’s hit “Good Girls Go Bad.”

Her home, valued at $6.5 million, was one of the first to go in the wildfire. It had five bedrooms and stunning ocean views. Just days before the fire, she and her husband, Adam Brody, were at the Golden Globes celebrating his nomination.

This isn’t the first time fans have rallied for a celebrity after a tragedy. Spencer Pratt did the same for Heidi Montag after their home was also lost in the fire. Montag’s music quickly climbed the charts, showing how powerful fan support can be.
