A woman in Las Vegas faces charges for practicing medicine illegally and injuring a client during cosmetic procedures
It all started when she was pulled over during a traffic stop on January 8. Now, she’s facing some hefty charges, including causing substantial bodily harm and giving out drugs without a prescription.
The story goes that a dancer visited her for these procedures back in 2020 and 2021, thinking everything was legit. She paid over $10,000, but things took a turn when she went to a doctor in Peru during a vacation. That’s when she found out she had some severe skin reactions, lumps, and discolorations.
The doctor had to remove a lot of foreign substances from her body, and now she’s dealing with constant pain that’s affecting her work. The police report mentioned that Kayan injected her in multiple areas, including her neck and buttocks, with only her mother around, who pretended to supervise.
Turns out, Kayan had an esthetician license, but it didn’t cover medical procedures. Her mom, Sonia, didn’t have any license at all. Kayan’s business was called Avilla Beauty and KH Aesthetics, and they even had a website still up, promoting various cosmetic services.
They were also posting about their travels and business plans on social media, which is pretty wild considering the situation. The police hinted that more charges could be on the way.
