Los Angeles: So, Kraven the Hunter is finally hitting digital platforms after a rough time in theaters. It didn’t do so hot, making less than $60 million worldwide against a $110 million budget. Ouch!

Directed by J.C. Chandor and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, this flick dives into the backstory of Kraven, a lesser-known villain from the Spider-Man comics. As a kid, he got mauled by a lion and then received a healing serum that gave him some wild animal traits. He tries to be a good guy for a bit, but we all know how that goes.

Now, if you’re thinking about renting or buying it, it’ll be available on platforms like Amazon Prime starting January 14. Renting will set you back about $19.99, while buying it costs $24.99. Just a heads up, if you rent it, you’ll have 48 hours to watch it once you hit play.

For those who prefer physical copies, the movie will also be out on Blu-ray and DVD on March 4, 2025. Both versions will come with some cool extras, like deleted scenes and a blooper reel.

As for streaming, it’s not available for free anywhere yet, but it’s expected to land on Netflix in a few months. Sony has a deal with Netflix that allows their movies to stream there after their home media release. If Kraven follows the same pattern as other Sony films, it should be on Netflix around April 2025.

So, if you’re not ready to shell out cash just yet, hang tight! You’ll likely be able to catch Kraven on Netflix soon enough.
