Kanye West enjoyed a family outing in Japan while Kim Kardashian faced wildfires in LA, prompting her family’s evacuation.
Tokyo: Kanye West had a sweet reunion with his three youngest kids in Japan. This happened while Kim Kardashian and her family were dealing with wildfires back in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, Kanye was spotted at a 7-Eleven in Tokyo’s Ginza district with his kids—9-year-old Saint, 6-year-old Chicago, and 5-year-old Psalm. They spent about 10 minutes browsing the aisles before grabbing some snacks.
Kanye, who hadn’t seen his kids in almost four months, kept a low profile in an all-black outfit with his hood up. The kids looked happy, but it’s unclear if their older sister, North, joined them in Japan.
Interestingly, Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, wasn’t seen with them either. The couple has been living a nomadic lifestyle, hopping between cities in Asia and the Middle East for the past six months.
Meanwhile, back in LA, Kim and her family had to evacuate their homes due to the Kenneth Fire, which burned over 1,000 acres in Calabasas. Thankfully, the fire has been contained now.
While their homes were safe, the Kardashian-Jenner clan jumped into action to help those affected. Kim’s SKIMS brand donated clothing and meals to local fire stations and those in need.
Kim has also been advocating for better pay for incarcerated firefighters, who risk their lives battling these blazes. She called on California Governor Gavin Newsom to raise their wages, which have remained at just $1 an hour since 1984.
In 2018, Kim and Kanye faced a similar situation when wildfires threatened their Hidden Hills mansion. They hired private firefighters to protect their home, which ultimately survived the flames.
As for Kanye, he hasn’t publicly commented on the wildfires affecting LA, but his focus seems to be on enjoying time with his kids in Japan.
