Los Angeles: So, Justin Baldoni’s lawyer has sent a letter to Disney. They want Disney to keep any documents that mention Baldoni. This is all about Ryan Reynolds and his Nicepool character in the upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine” film.

The letter was sent to big names like Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger. Baldoni’s team is looking for anything related to the Nicepool character’s development and any communications about it.

They’re hoping to find proof that Reynolds was trying to mock or bully Baldoni through this character. The letter even mentions a specific interest in any correspondence that shows a deliberate attempt to ridicule him.

This all comes after Baldoni’s attorney criticized a deleted scene from the film. In that scene, Reynolds’ Nicepool character has a man bun, which Baldoni used to wear. It seems like a clear dig at him.

Nicepool also talks about starting a podcast that monetizes the women’s movement. Baldoni has his own podcast discussing what it means to be a man today, so there’s a lot of overlap there.

In the scene, Nicepool raves about Blake Lively’s character, Ladypool, who just had a baby. Lively had her fourth child shortly before filming with Baldoni for “It Ends With Us.”

However, Lively has accused Baldoni of making comments about her postpartum body during filming, leading to her filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against him.

While Baldoni hasn’t directly sued Lively or Reynolds yet, his attorney has mentioned plans to take legal action against her. Baldoni also sued the New York Times for a piece about Lively’s allegations.

His lawyer has stated they plan to release all text messages between Baldoni and Lively to clear things up. Baldoni has denied all allegations and claims Lively was difficult to work with during production.

It’s a messy situation, and it looks like this drama is far from over. Page Six has reached out to reps for Baldoni, Lively, and Reynolds but hasn’t heard back yet.
