Josh Allen led a strong Bills offense to a 31-7 playoff win against the Broncos
They dominated the Broncos, scoring on six of their first seven drives. It was impressive to see them control the game, holding a 23-minute advantage in time of possession.
Even when the Broncos started strong with a touchdown, the Bills didn’t panic. Allen made a big play with a 24-yard touchdown pass to Ty Johnson, which really shifted the momentum.
Then, he connected with Curtis Samuel for a 55-yard gain right at the start of the fourth quarter. The Bills are now heading to the divisional round for the fifth year in a row, where they’ll face the Ravens.
This matchup is exciting since the Ravens had beaten the Bills earlier this season. Cook’s performance was also notable, as he became the first Bills player to rush for over 100 yards in a playoff game since Thurman Thomas in 1995.
Allen finished the game with 272 passing yards, setting a new franchise record for playoff touchdown passes. The Broncos, on the other hand, struggled in their first playoff game since 2015, with Nix completing just 13 of 22 passes.
