Josh Allen led the Bills with two touchdown passes in a dominant 31-7 wild-card win against the Broncos, advancing to the next playoff round.

Buffalo was in control, scoring on six of their first seven drives. They built a solid 31-7 lead and kept the ball for over 23 minutes. Even when the Broncos scored first with a 43-yard touchdown pass, the Bills didn’t panic.
With the score at 13-7, Allen made a big play, connecting with Ty Johnson for a 24-yard touchdown on fourth down. Then, he hit Curtis Samuel for a 55-yard pass right at the start of the fourth quarter.
This win means the Bills are heading to the divisional round for the fifth year in a row. They’ll be facing the Ravens next week, who just beat the Steelers. It’s a rematch for Allen and Lamar Jackson, who faced off in the playoffs back in 2020.
Cook made history too, being the first Bills player to rush for over 100 yards in a playoff game since Thurman Thomas in 1995. Allen finished the game with 272 passing yards, setting a new franchise playoff record for touchdown passes.
On the other hand, the Broncos struggled in their first playoff game since winning the Super Bowl in 2015. Rookie Bo Nix had a tough outing, completing just 13 of 22 passes. They punted four times and turned the ball over on downs twice.
