Jon Batiste and JoJo Launch New Jazz Club in the Bahamas

Nassau: Jon Batiste just opened his first jazz club at the Baha Mar resort, and he had JoJo join him for the grand opening. It was a big night with nearly 300 VIPs, including Jon Stewart and local dignitaries.

JoJo, who’s not a jazz pro, surprised everyone with her amazing performances of classic jazz songs alongside Batiste. She looked stunning in a black dress, while he rocked a silver suit.

Batiste has been dreaming of this club for years, even if he didn’t realize it at first. He grew up in New Orleans, surrounded by jazz, and now he’s bringing that vibe to the Bahamas.

He mentioned how the music scene in the Bahamas feels similar to New Orleans, with a rich cultural connection. Batiste filled the club with local art and wants to showcase Bahamian talent whenever he can’t be there.
