But it wasn’t just about the win. He took a moment to throw some shade at ESPN analyst Rex Ryan during an Instagram live. Mixon was clearly feeling himself after the game.
He said, “We’re smoking on that Rex Ryan bye week pack,” which was a direct response to Ryan’s earlier comments about the Chargers. Ryan had joked about the Chargers getting a bye week, which didn’t sit well with Mixon.
Before the game, Mixon had kept quiet about Ryan’s remarks, saying he’d let his performance do the talking. But after the win, he couldn’t help but share his thoughts.
