Kimmel addresses wild conspiracy theories about Diddy and the L.A. wildfires, urging support for those affected

Los Angeles: Jimmy Kimmel really went off on those wild conspiracy theories about the recent wildfires. On his show, he called them “nuts” and made it clear how ridiculous they are.
He shared a story about his brother chatting with a woman who actually believed Diddy started the fires. Can you believe that? Diddy, who’s in prison, supposedly managed to set the fires from behind bars!
Kimmel pointed out that this crazy idea seems to have come from TikTok. He mentioned a theory claiming that “elites” are trying to destroy Diddy’s supposed escape tunnels. It’s wild that people actually buy into this stuff.
He even joked about how the fires are burning everything except Diddy’s house, saying it’s like the “elites” are trying to protect him. It’s all just too funny and sad at the same time.
He also expressed concern about how misinformation is spreading. “Thank God fire isn’t fueled by stupid,” he quipped, or we’d be in big trouble.
After the evacuation due to the wildfires, Kimmel returned to the air, sharing how stressful the week had been. He got emotional talking about the community coming together to help each other.
He had actor Steve Guttenberg on the show, who’s been helping first responders. They shared a laugh, but Guttenberg also acknowledged how tough things are for those who lost their homes.
It’s a tough time for L.A., but Kimmel’s humor and the community spirit are shining through.
