Jeannette: A man named Kyle Joseph Bair, 32, is in hot water again. He was already facing charges for attacking someone with a hatchet last year. Now, he’s hit with rape allegations too.

The state police started looking into these new claims back in February. A man reported that Bair raped him while he was unconscious and even recorded it. The accuser said Bair showed him the video afterward, which is pretty chilling.

When police got a search warrant, they found a video on Bair’s phone that matched what the accuser described. Bair, however, insists that everything was consensual and denies the rape charges.

He’s now facing serious charges, including rape of an unconscious victim and sexual assault. Bair is currently held on a $100,000 bail at Westmoreland County Prison. He doesn’t have a lawyer listed yet, and a preliminary hearing is coming up on January 22.

On top of this, he’s still waiting for trial for that hatchet attack from July 7 in Hempfield, which left the other guy needing emergency surgery. His bail for that case is set at $150,000. It’s a tough situation for him, to say the least.
