Los Angeles: Jay Leno is really stepping up to help out. With the wildfires raging, he’s been driving around in his vintage fire truck to feed the brave firefighters.

He’s been spotted at relief sites, serving up hot meals to those working tirelessly to battle the flames. In a chat with Anderson Cooper, Leno shared how he’s been cooking for the crews and making sure they get some good food.

Leno joked about having his own fire truck, saying it’s handy living in LA. He even mentioned that he drove a 1941 American LaFrance fire truck to help out. It’s pretty cool, right?

He’s been busy, too. Just the other day, he was at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and he plans to visit more locations in the coming days. Leno described the situation as “unbelievable,” comparing it to major disasters like 9/11.

The devastation is immense, with thousands of buildings affected. He noted that the Pacific Palisades area is basically wiped out and might take years to rebuild. But he remains optimistic, saying, “We’ll get through it, we always do.”

Jamie Lee Curtis also weighed in, comparing the fire damage to war-torn areas. She expressed her heartbreak over the catastrophe hitting her neighborhood.

Firefighters have been battling multiple blazes, with the Palisades and Eaton fires causing massive destruction. The damage could reach $150 billion, making it one of the costliest wildfires in US history. Sadly, the death toll has risen, and it’s expected to climb further.
