The recent ceasefire agreement suggests Trump may be more effective out of office than Biden was during his presidency
Sure, the deal isn’t perfect. It seems a bit unfair since it lets a bunch of Palestinian terrorists go for every innocent Israeli hostage released. Plus, there’s no solid plan for what happens in Gaza after Hamas.
But hey, Israel could really use a break after 15 months of fighting. They need time to figure out their next steps regarding Gaza and other security issues. And let’s be real, Hamas only came to the table because Trump warned them that things would get messy if they didn’t release the hostages before he took office.
Vice President-elect JD Vance even pointed out that people are scared of the consequences for Hamas, which is why they’re negotiating. Also, it seems like Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu trusts Trump way more than he ever trusted Biden, which is a big deal when it comes to reducing violence.
In short, being tough on terrorists instead of trying to appease them actually works. Trump never backed down from US enemies, and remember all the fuss when he took out Qassem Soleimani? Nothing bad happened; Iran actually backed off.
Then Biden came in with his plan to make Iran great again, and look what happened: Iran got bolder, leading to Hamas’ attack on October 7.
Standing firm with allies like Israel really pays off. Biden’s approach, on the other hand, just led to chaos. So, while Biden leaves office in a bit of a mess, Trump is showing what real leadership looks like, even before he officially starts his second term.
