Isaiah Collier’s clutch layup in overtime secured a thrilling win for the Jazz against the Nets

Collier had a fantastic night, scoring a career-high 23 points, along with seven rebounds and seven assists. Collin Sexton also stepped up, adding 21 points to help the Jazz break their three-game losing streak. Svi Mykhailiuk and Brice Sensabaugh each contributed 16 points, too.
Sensabaugh hit a big 3-pointer to put Utah ahead 110-108, but then Tosan Evbuomwan made two free throws to give Brooklyn a brief lead with just 6.4 seconds left. Evbuomwan was the top scorer for the Nets with 22 points, while Ziaire Williams added 19. Ben Simmons and Nic Claxton each scored 14 points, with Simmons also dishing out nine assists.
This loss marked Brooklyn’s fifth straight defeat. They struggled with missed shots and free throws at crucial moments, which really hurt their chances.
In the third quarter, Collier and Sensabaugh sparked a 13-3 run, putting Utah up 85-76. Brooklyn fought back in the fourth, tying the game at 102 with just over a minute left, thanks to Williams’ free throws.
Both teams had only 11 active players due to injuries, making the game even more intense. Up next, Brooklyn heads to Portland on Tuesday, while Utah will host Charlotte on Wednesday.
