Francesca Bell shares her journey of losing weight with a delicious diet

Before this transformation, she tried everything from fad diets to hypnosis, but nothing seemed to work. At her heaviest, she weighed 14 stone 13 pounds and felt uncomfortable in her own skin. A colleague even asked if she was expecting a baby, which was a real wake-up call for her.
After a trip to Italy, Francesca got curious about the Italian way of eating and living. She dove deep into research, reading studies from reputable sources like Harvard. She learned about their eating habits, like not having milky coffees after 11 am and enjoying sweet breakfasts.
From May to December 2024, she lost an impressive 6 stone 4 pounds while indulging in over 365 croissants and enjoying her favorite dishes. She calls it the “Britalian Diet.” Francesca realized that balance is key; you don’t have to give up the foods you love to lose weight.
She set a daily calorie limit and focused on whole foods, walking 10,000 steps daily, and still enjoyed her wine, just in smaller portions. The weight came off without feeling deprived, and she felt great about it.
Now, she weighs around 8 stone 5 pounds and has even written a book about her journey. Francesca believes savoring meals and prioritizing quality ingredients are essential for sustainable weight loss. She’s no longer stressed about dieting and feels at peace with her new lifestyle.
