Calgary Flames secured a 2-1 win against the LA Kings with Huberdeau’s goal and Wolf’s stellar saves

Matt Coronato also contributed, scoring his 10th goal and adding an assist for Calgary, which now stands at 20-14-7. The Kings, on the other hand, had their five-game winning streak snapped, with Jacob Moverare netting their only goal.
Originally, these teams were set to face off on Wednesday in Los Angeles, but that game got postponed due to wildfires in the area. Wolf improved his record to 14-6-2, leading all NHL rookies in wins, while Kings’ goalie David Rittich made 16 saves and fell to 11-9-0.
The Kings struggled on the power play, ranking 28th in the league. They had a chance early in the game but couldn’t score, finishing 0-for-3 on the night. Meanwhile, the Flames adjusted their lineup without Connor Zary, who is out with a knee injury.
Calgary took the lead at 4:36 in the third when Huberdeau scored on a power play, marking his 18th goal of the season. Coronato was the standout player, taking five of Calgary’s 18 shots.
Wolf has been impressive at home, boasting an 11-2-1 record at the Saddledome with a .936 save percentage.
Looking ahead, the Kings will continue their road trip against the Edmonton Oilers on Monday, while the Flames will visit the Chicago Blackhawks to kick off their own four-game road trip.
