Richard Lambert shares his journey from a middle-class upbringing to multimillionaire status through resume writing.

He’s got his home and vacation property all paid off, but he’s still grinding every day. Richard grew up in a middle-class family and learned early on about saving money. He remembers being shocked at how much things cost compared to what he had saved. His dad taught him the importance of showing up for work, and he’s taken that to heart—he hasn’t taken a day off since 2016!
After a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2017, he and his wife decided to pay off their home for peace of mind. Even though he could’ve made more investing, he wanted to ensure his family wouldn’t have to move if something happened to him.
He admits that work-life balance is a myth for him. He’s got a great income but works every single day, even when he was in the hospital after that accident. Still, he manages to pick his daughter up from school and be there for her events.
Richard is careful with his money, putting a lot into retirement accounts. He used to own rental properties but sold them after realizing being a landlord wasn’t as easy as it seemed. He drives a 20-year-old Lexus because he likes its vintage vibe.
He’s not flashy but spends on what matters—his family. They recently bought a small lake house, which they paid off quickly. He loves making memories with his daughter there, something he didn’t have growing up. It’s all about those priceless moments for him.
