The affordable housing lottery for 2017 Grand Concourse in Tremont is now accepting applications for eligible residents.
Tremont: The affordable housing lottery has kicked off for the 2017 Grand Concourse. This nine-story building offers 34 apartments designed by Curtis + Ginsberg and developed by Justin S. Stein.
Out of those, 25 units are available for folks making between 30 to 95 percent of the area median income. That means incomes can range from about $21,566 to $159,315.
You’ll find some nice amenities here, like an on-site superintendent, an elevator, and even a rooftop terrace. Plus, the units come with energy-efficient appliances, which is a nice touch.
For those at 30 percent of the AMI, there’s a studio for $544, a one-bedroom for $689, and a two-bedroom for $815. Not too shabby, right?
If you’re at 50 percent of the AMI, studios go for $1,010, one-bedrooms for $1,271, and two-bedrooms for $1,614. And at 95 percent of the AMI, studios are $1,415, one-bedrooms are $1,778, and two-bedrooms are $2,121.
Just a heads up, you need to meet certain income and household size requirements to apply. Make sure to get your applications in by March 14, 2025, either by mail or online.
