Lineker and Shearer praise Liverpool’s dominance while Neville remains skeptical about their title chances

Meanwhile, Liverpool has been on fire. They crushed Tottenham 6-3 and then came back to beat Leicester 3-1 at Anfield. They kept the momentum going with a stunning 5-0 win against West Ham.
With Chelsea struggling, Liverpool now sits comfortably at the top of the table, eight points ahead of their nearest rivals. Chelsea, on the other hand, is in fourth place, trailing behind Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer are both confident about Liverpool’s title chances. On their podcast, Lineker praised Liverpool’s impressive form, saying, “They’ve got a big lead now. I honestly can’t see anyone getting near Liverpool now.”
Shearer echoed those sentiments, highlighting Liverpool’s strength in every position. He believes it’s Liverpool’s title to lose at this point.
Arsenal is trying to close the gap with a win over Brentford, but even if they succeed, Liverpool still has a game in hand. Gary Neville, however, isn’t ready to concede just yet. He thinks Arsenal is the only team that can challenge Liverpool right now.
Neville remains cautious, stating, “Liverpool are massive favorites, but there’s still a long way to go.” He believes Arsenal has the resilience to keep up the fight, even if Chelsea’s recent losses surprised him.
