Discover where to catch this year’s award-winning films, from streaming to theaters

Los Angeles: The 2025 movie awards season is buzzing, but it can be tricky to know where to watch all the films. Are they streaming? Free? In theaters? Only in LA and New York?
Take “The Brutalist,” a big winner at the Golden Globes. It’s been the talk of the town since its Venice Film Festival debut. If you’re curious about this 215-minute post-war saga by Brady Corbet, you might have a hard time finding it. It just expanded to 60 theaters this weekend.
The Associated Press has put together a handy guide to help you navigate this season’s top contenders and where to catch them.
“All We Imagine as Light” is in limited theaters. This beautiful film by Payal Kapdia showcases three women in Mumbai and won the Grand Prix at Cannes. Interestingly, it wasn’t chosen by India for the Oscars, but it could still snag nominations in other categories.
Then there’s “The Apprentice,” which is on VOD. Jeremy Strong received a SAG nomination for his role as Donald Trump’s lawyer Roy Cohn in this film about the future U.S. President.
So, whether you’re looking to stream or catch a flick in theaters, there’s plenty to enjoy this awards season!
