Join comedian Tim Boyd for a fun night at Hope Church to support Hollandale Christian School this Friday
Even though Boyd is based in Florida, he travels across the country for performances, especially in the South and Midwest. This will be his fifth show in Minnesota in just six months! Originally from South Dakota, he has a background in pastoral work, following in his family’s footsteps.
Boyd’s comedy journey began about five years ago when his congregation gifted him comedy classes for Christmas. He realized he had been expressing a desire to be a comedian during his sermons. Now, he loves making people laugh and has turned it into a full-time gig.
In addition to comedy, Boyd runs a nonprofit that helps foster families keep siblings together. He mainly performs at fundraising events, especially for Christian nonprofits focused on children. He met a representative from Hollandale Christian School at a fundraiser in Austin and was invited to perform.
Boyd is excited to support the school’s ministry and is particularly looking forward to the social hour before the show. He describes himself as an extreme extrovert who enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories.
